The Orange Grim Reaper Cometh: “many more of us are going to die”

I love it when I see a crisp, clear blue sky, seen through the canopy of urban tree lines adorning the parkways on the left and right. The scene makes me reflect on the fact that we, the human race, our blessed to have evolved in a world where its natural beauty manifests itself to us, often without much an effort. There is something very uplifting about moments, visions such has these.

This morning, I had a wonderful opportunity to experience one those intense blue skies while I was listening to a set of podcasts, most of which were about religion. Talks about religion on their own provided me with a well deserved natural high, and truly made my morning. Towards the end of my commute, I switched from religion to the topic of climate change, and did some catching up on the content published by MIT’s Climate Portal. [1] Climate change, ESG, and sustainability represent themes that I deeply care about. I follow them as way to build up and maintain a fact-based scientifically sound, personal view on themes that today, like so many others, have become politically exploitable tools by agenda-driven, ideologically flawed groups. It is my way of being able to easily counter the opinions of the many citizens, who have been misinformed, misled by tainted information, fake news, and deliberate…
