I am a huge fan of Professor Heather Cox Richardson’s daily newsletter, blog and podcast series that aims to document what is going on in today’s surreal political landscape. [1][2][3][4]
Feel free to brand me an elitist-fan, one who holds in very high esteem the the intellectual class, regardless of political inclination, or country, institution of higher education, for that matter. Hey, but I do. I don’t always find the idea of a philosopher king too scary. I don’t easily dismiss a lifetime of accumulated scholarship and study unless it wholeheartedly ingests and accepts the core ideas out of books like Mein Kemp, the Malleus Maleficarum or books by, you know, Pete Hegseth. Yeah, that guy who runs The Pentagon.
I like listening to what the “so-called” liberals have to say , as well to those who start from a conservative position. I will occasionally even tune in to Fox News, for a good chuckle. Their parading of Marjorie Taylor Greene’s latest idiocies is indeed entertaining. You should drink some of that Kool-Aid too.
